The Brief

The University of Winchester approached Roundhouse Digital with a need to drive student recruitment applications for 2017 entry. The initial objectives were to extend the pool of potential applications and drive greater lead generation by raising awareness of the University and to raise the profile of teaching and bolster applications to campus based teaching courses.

Prospective Student User Journey Mapping

Application targets were exceeded early for 2017 intake and our focus was then extended to delivering 2018 digital marketing activities and postgraduate recruitment. Student conversion journeys were mapped out and intelligent digital advertising strategies implemented for each stage of conversion.

Creating Conversion-Centric Landing Pages

A series of responsive sites with personalised content were developed to optimise conversion. The sites were regularly updated in response to campaign launches and designed to engage visitors to book an open day, download a prospectus, to search for courses and to apply with all interactions tracked to inform campaign activities.
